Hello friends! I'm sorry once again for my lack of posts. Unfortunately i've been sick all week, so it's been quite difficult to get out of bed and do anything productive. Since i've been absent for the majority of the week, i'm going to be doing two posts today (i'll post the room of the week later this afternoon). Until then, i'm very excited to share this first post with you guys! I've always been a big fan of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette series and I pride myself on picking the top people on the first night (haha it's quite a talent). The second I saw Jillian Harris she was instantly my favourite, mainly because she was an Interior Designer, Canadian, and had a great sense of style. As the season progressed she remained my favourite and I was more than thrilled when I found out she was going to be The Bachelorette. I've since followed her on Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and Love It or List It Vancouver. She's definitely one of my girl crushes! I couldn't wait when I found out that she and business partners Tori Wesszer and Alyssa Dennis were starting an online home decor store, Charlie Ford Vintage (is that name not perfect!?). The first time I went on the site I instantly got Vintage One Kings Lane vibes. Everything is organized so well, and I love the simple, feminine layout. I also love how they have A LOT of variety. To be honest, I didn't think they would have a ton to choose from just because it's such a new business, but there are lots of beautiful pieces for every single area of your home. It's also great because the pieces are truly one of a kind. While I do love big chains that sell fabulous products, it's the unique, one of a kind pieces that really make your house a home. Check it out!? On a side note, i'm desperately needing to change the look of my blog a bit so if anyone knows any talented graphic designers in the Winnipeg area that are good with blog/logo design please contact me at samschriemer@gmail.com. Thanks!?
